Supporting the Metal Gods

At the end of April, HammerFall will support the mighty Judas Priest on three shows in Scandinavia, during the band’s Epitaph farewell tour. “A dream come true for me personally, I have ranked them no. 1 0r 2 since I heard them the very first time some 20 years ago”, exclaims guitarist Oscar Dronjak. The dates are:

April 22: Helsinki Icehall, Helsingfors, Finland

April 24: Cloetta Center, Linköping, Sweden

April 25: Hovet, Stockholm, Sweden

Smaller club tour in Sweden

After performing the classic arenas such as Scandinavium, Hovet and alike in Sweden HammerFall decided to do a smaller club tour in Sweden to get the genuine feeling of getting more near to their audience.

“We have been longing for years to get back to the smaller clubs to where we started our career”, comments vocalist Joacim Cans.

Swedish Outbreak in March 2012

Fresh off their long and successful European Outbreak 2011, HammerFall will embark on a country wide club tour in Sweden in March 2012, dubbed The Swedish Outbreak 2012. More dates will follow.

Riot canceling first leg, Vicious Rumors replacing

Due to an emergency oral surgery to singer Tony Moore, Riot has been forced to cancel their special guest slot on the upcoming European Outbreak 2011 tour. Vicious Rumors, who previously were scheduled for the second leg only, now steps in and becomes special guest for the entire tour. Support acts Amaranthe and DeathDestruction remain.

Vicious Rumors confirmed for second leg

Metal masters Vicious Rumors are confirmed for the special guest slot for the 2nd leg the tour this Nov-Dec. Vicious Rumors’ album “Razorback Killers” on SPV was #1 in Rock Hard Mag and saw the band on tour in 2011 playing over 40 shows with great live reviews including Summer Breeze Festival, Metalfest, RockHard Festival and many others!

VR will join Hammerfall from Nov 27th to Dec 10th.

The band is known for their high energy shows and the band is hot after months of touring. Every show will be a night to remember as Vicious Rumors return to Europe for this end of the year.

HammerFall on Swedish national television tonight!

The hosts of the program “99 Saker Man Måste Göra Innan Man Dör” (translation: 99 things you have to do before you die) visited HammerFall on stage at Summer Breeze Open Air last month, and tonight the result will be aired on Swedish television. Tune in to TV6 at 21:00 and watch Erik & Mackan become rockstars for a day together with the Templars of HammerFall!
