The second HAMMERFALL trailer for their upcoming Live DVD/2CD, Blu-Ray/2CD „Gates Of Dalhalla“ – out on November 30th – can now be watched here:

For this, the extraordinary 135 minutes long 15-year anniversary show that took place on the 28th of July on the historic open-air stage Dalhalla, built in an old quarry near the small Swedish village Rättvik, was captured on camera.

Prominent guests included original HAMMERFALL line-up members Jesper Strömblad and Mikael Stanne, as well as ex-guitarist Stefan Elmgren, among others, which made the show unforgettable – also for the musicians themselves.

The DVD was recorded and dircted by Patric Ullaeus (Dimmu Borgir, Children Of Bodom, In Flames a.o.). It will be released as a DVD/2CD and Blu-Ray/2CD

On the occasion of their well-deserved time-out in 2012/13, after which the quintet will return stronger than ever, a testimonial of HAMMERFALL’s on-stage power in a DVD+2CD format will be released on December 5th. For this, the extraordinary 135 minutes long 15-year anniversary show that took place on the 28th of July on the historic open-air stage Dalhalla, built in an old quarry near the small Swedish village Rättvik, was captured on camera.

Oscar Dronjak comments: “The set contained 26 tracks and lasted 2 hours and 15 minutes, by far the longest and most comprehensive gig of our entire career! We played songs from every album and then some, there were lots of guests and pyros, and we had 80 Marshall cabinets and the big shield with the HF logo carved out in the middle hanging brought out of storage, all set in an extremely unique venue. You really have to see it to understand, this concert really captured the essence of HammerFall live in 2012 very well!”

„Everything concerning this release is special: the venue, the occasion, the setlist, the guests. If you are going to celebrate something, do it properly, and this is exactly what we have done. HammerFall with extra everything, 100% live, 0% bullshit“, says Oscar.

HammerFall “Crimson XII” red wine

HammerFall is launching its own red wine!

“HammerFall Crimson XII” is a Barbera d’Asti D.O.C.G. from Cantina Sant’Evasio, Piemonte in Italy. The wine is made by 100% Barbera.

The guys put down a lot of time testing different wines to select the perfect HammerFall wine. Initially, it will be only available in Sweden. The Crimson XII can be ordered from Systembolaget in Sweden from September 1st and will have the article nr. 72941–01.

However, as a sneak preview, this weekend at the exclusive Dalhalla show the wine will be available for purchase at the arena, so drop by and enjoy the world premiere of “HammerFall Crimson XII”!

Gästartister till Dalhalla klara!

Vad som redan med all säkerhet var givet att bli en legendarisk kväll på Dalhalla den 28 juli, kommer nu att bli ännu mera speciell. HammerFalls spelning kommer att gästas av tre återvändande HF-kändisar: Stefan Elmgren, som var bandets gitarrist 1997-2008, Mikael Stanne, som var sångare 1993-96 och till vardags finns i Dark Tranquillity, samt Jesper Strömblad, som efter sin tid i bandet gjorde sig känd som den musikaliska motorn i In Flames. Dessutom kommer Roger Pontare att göra HammerFall sällskap på scenen i en repris av den bejublade hårdrocksversionen av hans “När Vindarna Viskar Mitt Namn”.

Team Cans från Körslaget gör också ett gästuppträdande, och hela konserten kommer att filmas för utgivning på DVD senare i år. Mer än två timmars musik, effekter och underhållning utlovas, den största och mest påkostade HammerFall-showen någonsin! Som uppvärmare har inga mindre än Crucified Barbara bjudits in. Låter det här som något man inte bör missa? Bra, för det är det också.

Two new festivals added

Two new festivals have been added to the summer schedule:

July 13: Sommarrock Svedala, Sweden

August 7: Sziget Festival, Hungary

Take the chance to see HammerFall perform, after the last show in August the band will take an extended break at least until 2014.
