 Joacim Cans All this talk about guitars, drums etc but not a single shout out for the front man Joacim....Hammerfall wouldn't be Hammerfall without your kick ass voice!! I try hard as hell to hit your range, to no avail.....How you do it is a mystery.
Your voice is unduplicatable! Keep singing your heart out!!!!!!!!!

Re: Joacim Cans One of my favorite vocalists for sure. I tend to care more for the voice than anything else in music. The rest is just a bonus to me.  Some songs have exceptions, of course though.

Re: Joacim Cans Oh yes, Mr. Cans! He's a very important part of HammerFall, no doubt. Amazing songwriter, amazing singer. And seems like a nice person, as well. He just smiled when he was trying to make us shout "FAAAAAAAAAALL!" right before they played Let the Hammer Fall @ Sauna Open Air 2009, ha-ha.  He's got a very good voice, that's for sure, and it perfectly fits in HammerFall's style. All hail Joacim! o/

Re: Joacim Cans Joacim is one of my favourite vocalists (of any genre). His voice is also good live (though I just attended 1 concert... yet...), and that's worth alot IMO. Vocals are quite important to me. There are several bands I could have liked if they didn't use those bloody screaming vocals (for example Accept).

Re: Joacim Cans Same here.  If I don't like the vocals, I usually don't like the band, despite the rest of the music. There may be a few exceptions, but can't really think of one for now...
