 Question about avatar
I want to ask about the size on a picture that I want to put in my avatar, or whatever it calls, I tried to put in my picture but it didn't work because it was too big. Then how the hell am I gonna get it smaller? It's quite difficult to me to understand ^^ I know what MB means but MiB? I don't hear a clock ringing anywhere in my head..

 Re: Question about avatar
MiB is the same thing as MB or Megabyte.
The size it asks for is pixel X and Y and if they match they go for the size (weight) of the file.

 Re: Question about avatar

 Re: Question about avatar
Don't wanna be a wise-ass, but MiB= Men in Black But it's a pity there's a limit in the amount of pixels. I mean, now I have to find an image that matches the right amount. Isn't there a way to upload any picture, but with some kind of tool that corrects the size in the forum? Now I have to use that crappy thing I have now. Or is there any way to make the images smaller, without cutting in the image itself (like I do with paint in the guess the cover game)?

 Re: Question about avatar
If I made the programming there would be such thing that resized the image and reduces the "weight" of it aswell to the proper values and sizes. But I did not so we just have to stick with it

 Re: Question about avatar
You can upload or add your picture on photobucket. There you can edit and resize your picture. When I build an avatar myself, I resize it with photoshop. All pictures I take from the internet I'm adding to my Photobucket account and resize it there.

 Re: Question about avatar
I resized my avatar using the Gimp. Open Source programme, similar to paint or photoshop I guess. It's very elaborate and takes a lot of work to find out how something works, but seems to work decent so far...

 Re: Question about avatar
IrfanView. Most simple way to do simple things with any kind of pictures.
