 Re: Holidays
It sure would. It must be just as popular in our eductaion system as Finnish is in yours. But really Sweden or Denmark are both nice places too (yet under normal condition I would never admit this)

 Re: Holidays
Just got back from South Carolina. Had a great time. They have the prettiest state flag of all 50 states. I love real southern hospitality and cooking. I think I must've gained 10 lbs. Time to hit the treadmill.

 Re: Holidays
Leaving for Texas on Sunday. I'm just tagging along on my husband's business trip. I've never been that far west before. It should be fun.

 Re: Holidays
You wanna see rednecks? You might like the people who are living just north of my place, people from the "Bible belt"

 Re: Holidays
South Carolina and Texas are both considered the bible belt here, but not everyone is super religious. I usually just try to keep the topic of conversation off of religion and also stay away from discussing certain bands with them. I'm personally not religious at all, but I have friends and family that are very religious. Lucky for me, they aren't on this forum. I really don't need an intervention to save my soul. Texas was fun. I went on a 5 mi hike, swam naked in the Colorado River and ate way too much. When I went into Austin, it was not a nice town. The other way was much nicer. It was nice to be able to still fit into my formal dress from 10 years ago.
