 The Concert Topic
Here it is: a topic were you can talk about concerts you will attend, and the possibility to talk about it after you've been there.
I've bought tickets already for Pinkpop (festival, Rammstein is coming) on May 28, Blind Guardian (Tilburg, September 24) and Sabaton+Alestorm (Nijmegen, October 21). I'm really looking forward to these concerts, since I know Rammstein is pretty impressive live, Blind Guardian seems to be a treat too and I've seen Sabaton before (just a part of it, sadfully). Alestorm is perfectly fitting as support.

 Re: The Concert Topic
I was looking for Sabaton Tickets but they are not yet available. Blind Guardian costs 40 Euro. Too expensive for me at the moment.

 Re: The Concert Topic
It'll be a while before they'll start their World War Tour... I think the venue I bought my tickets from is quite early.

 Re: The Concert Topic
I think I'll spend a lot of time in this topic, I usually have a very filled concert agenda Gigs I've been to this year: Europe, Manowar, Gamma Ray / Freedom Call, Airbourne and Tito & Tarantula I haven't bought many tickets yet for upcoming gigs, but I have a list ready of those I still have to buy On the list: Scorpions, Nevermore, Megadeth, Graspop Metal Meeting (combi-ticket already bought), Rock Zottegem (depending on the bill, maybe one day if Twisted Sister gets confirmed), Suikerrock (one day with the Doors, John Fogerty and ZZ Top!), Lokerse Feesten (Alice Cooper!), Alcatraz Metal Fest (Pretty Maids, Lizzy Borden, Raven, Moonspell, Kreator and more to be confirmed), Blind Guardian, Sabaton, Metal Female Voices Fest (Arch Enemy and more) and Therion. ...and my friend has bought my VIP ticket for HammerFall in Chicago

Oh man, you got to see Airbourne? I just love that band and how they sound so much like AC/DC. I have their new CD No Guts, No Glory. I live in the USA and it's not on our store shelves until April 20th so I ordered it off Amazon's Canada website. Awesome stuff. I'd sure like to see them. Funny enough, they came to Indianapolis only about 2 months before I first heard of them.

 Re: The Concert Topic
Yeah, I saw them in Antwerp on the 22nd February. Awesome gig, very energetic live band with pure party songs. We were second row, and later we went to hang around the tour bus to ask for autographs and pictures, really nice guys!

 Re: The Concert Topic
We couldn't get to see Airbourne when they came to Norwich, Richie couldn't get a 3rd night off work, and we had already seen Megadeth and were supposed to be seeing The Almighty, but they cancelled. We were well gutted! My tickets for Hammerfall have turned up and this week i will be buying tickets to see Sepultura in July.......we were looking at Blind Guardian but they want £90 for 2 tickets thats a bit pricey, and they are only doing one show in the UK.....Kamelot only did one show here too, so we have missed them as well, as well as Edguy....to far away(don't like them as much as Hammerfall and so am not willing to travel 150 miles to see them, they are good, but not that good) and don't get me started on missing Hammerfest, Sonisphere and Download....due to kids and cost of festival tickets, its £160 + each for a weekend ticket in the UK, not like the european festivals at 50 - 100 euros.....

 Re: The Concert Topic
We are going to see W.A.S.P. on Friday night. I've seen them before, but haven't been to this venue in over a decade, so that should be interesting. Jim is going to be the designated drives, which means I get to be the designated drunk. I drove when we went to see Megadeth. We were really looking forward to Megadeth, but it seemed like they weren't into it. Maybe just an off night. The other bands with them were really bad. One kept going flat in the chorus and the other looked like Skeletor doing death metal aerobics. It was a strange night to say the least.

 Re: The Concert Topic
WASP is one of those bands lots of people are talking about, and I don't know a single song of. Not even a title!

 Re: The Concert Topic
I'm going to tell you a big secret, Andreas. There is a site called youtube. Believe it or not, but if you type W.A.S.P. into the search field you'll get to hear W.A.S.P.'s music! Astonishing isn't it? And I can tell you: You'll hear classic old school metal from decades ago. For example try Sweet Cheetah, one of my favorites.
