Re: What was the last album you bought?
I can't tell you which album was the last one but I can tell you the next one is the new Blind Guardian album! Just heard a few songs of it on the Radio and an interview with Blind Guardian! Awesome!

Re: What was the last album you bought?
I let my parents buy the Metal Hammer when they were in Germany, because of the BG bonus CD. It has an edit version for Sacred Worlds and songs from Wacken 2007 on it. As soon as I stumble across one of their two latest efforts for a decent price. No luck so far, but I'm confident that it will be possible in the near future. I know some stores that like to drop prices for this sort of thing sometimes.

Blind Guardian at Wacken 2007 was a very good show, so that should be worth it I have ordered some cds, still waiting for them to arrive... I know I like these, it's more a matter of completing my cd collection with my favourite albums / bands... Alice Cooper - Trash Alice Cooper - Dragontown Brainstorm - Just Highs No Lows - 12 years of persistence (2 CD) Warrel Dane - Praises to the War Machine

Yeah But I have to say that even though the debut doesn't match the qaulity of the new stuff it is great too (if you can find it) There are some real masterpieces and very great progressive stuff in there too and cool instrumental parts. But yes the new stuff is great.

Re: What was the last album you bought?
Blind Guardian - At The Edge Of Time 2-CD Digipack Circle II Circle - Burden Of Truth Falconer - Among Beggars And Thieves Iced Earth - Overture Of The Wicked Iron Savior - Condition Red [with free ticket for a festival that will be held in 8 years ago] Manticora - 8 Deadly Sins Mind Odyssey - Time To Change It
Well, that's probably my last big list for a long time, luckily there were only 2 of these above 10 euros (Falconer 14 euros and BG 20 euros).
From now on just new releases like Apocalyptica, Accept and Kamelot.

Re: What was the last album you bought?
Did you get the digipack of Among Beggars and Thieves? Just asking for your own sake since Dark Ages is one of the best songs on the album (well Fields of Sorrow has to be the best along with Dreams and Pyres)

Re: What was the last album you bought?
Good for you- It is a very good album even though I prefer Chapters From a Vale Forlorn. Yet on the digipack you also have the new version of the traditional swedish folk song We Sold Our Homesteads sung in Swedish which I prefer because of the new instrumentation (a bit more orchestral instead of folky)

Re: What was the last album you bought?
Well I prefer folk over metal anyday, so I'm not sure how to think about this yet. Chapters From A Vale Forlorn is the only album of Falconer I still wanna buy (being a fan of Mathias Blad), and except for The Clarion Call I don't know any of the songs.
