Now I got the records. Elements were sold so I only got Twilight in Olympus and Twilight Time (double Twilight) I have to say really good albums both.

So in France I found:
Metallica - S&M (€12,99) Rhapsody - Symphony of Enchanted Lands II - The Dark Secret (€9,99) Blind Guardian - A Twist in the Myth (€6,99)
Not bad I think.

Yeah not bad. Yet the only one out of those I am in desperate need of is the Rhapsody record. The one I am missing. and what a price over here they are all over 15€ everywhere.

Celesty - Vendetta I just love it Possibly the best symphonic metal record ever. a reviewer once said that this record makes Luca Turilli jealous The orchestra is my citys philharmonic symphony orchestra.

I think the cover of Vendetta is just awesome I haven't listened that good to the music yet, so far I don't think it's that exceptional. Anyway, my latest two CD-buyings: Edguy - Mandrake Freedom Call - Eternity

Check New Sin and Fading Away at least. It takes a few (not too many) listens and the hooks are not so clear so nothing will get stuck in your head (well there are a few exceptions) But Still the music is awesome and the hidden hooks make you wnat to listen to it time and time again.

A bit of research told me that real choirs and a real orchestra was used. If it's true, it definately deserves my attention. So, is it true?

Re: What was the last album you bought?
I haven't been buying as many CDs as of late due to being told: "If you buy one more CD....." No, he didn't finish his sentence. I did just order "By The Light of the Northern Star" by Tyr. I justified it by saying that it was just to recieve free shipping on a book.

Re: What was the last album you bought?
Yes like I said There is a long list of performers female and male voices. Even the ex sonata arctica Guitarrist Jani Liimatainen on backing vocals and his replacement guitarrist in Sonata Elias Viljanen who plays a kickass solo on one of the tracks. Production is superb. Sound is nice. and Orchestral parts are unbelieveable. "New Sin" check that for orchestral parts. Just so beatiful. If you don't mind silly genric power metal lyrics (well you like HF right?) you may like "Like Warriors" Autumn Leaves, Fading Away... and definately the epic Legacy of Hate pt.3 that continues the two parts from their second album as this album finishes the Rhapsody style story they have going on. The epic is 13 minutes and has different types of vocals (Female, Male, Growls even) and impressive orchestral parts. I'll post this here too. My thoughts on musical year 2009:

Re: What was the last album you bought?
Ah, I was looking with my nose apparently. It's on my wishlist already, but thanks Yes, I like HF, but they were the first PM band I got into. But I don't mind generic lyrics, it's about the music! You've got a few strong points there, 2009 is a good metal year (it will be even better: Rammstein!). In the other forum, of course lord_regnier had to have some comment Anyway, to stick to topic: Today: Cain's Offering - Gather the Faithful Dragonland - Astronomy Heidevolk - De Strijdlust is Geboren They didn't have Vendetta.
