 Do you have guilty music pleasures? Do you have any favourite music you would be ashamed to share it with other metal fans? A while ago there was an article in Metal Hammer. Most MH readers admitted that they secretly like Lady Gaga's music. I must admit, Lady Gaga's music is good and really catchy. I also like secretly 70's and 80's pop music. Don't judge me, please!  What about you?

Re: Do you have guilty music pleasures? Hmmm 70s and 80s pop is very good, most longtime metal fans agree on that. So that's not really something to be ashamed of.
Personally, I'm a huge Toto fan. I even prefer them above Rammstein, my favourite metal band. But I also know lots of metalheads liking that. The same goes for Scottish and Irish folk music. Maybe Idlewild (indie rock from Scotland) will do the trick. But I haven't seen one single metalhead (maybe an ex-metalhead) who likes Placebo.
But lady Gaga is too much electronix for me. And rumor has it that lots of metal fans like Manowar...

Re: Do you have guilty music pleasures? I wouldn't say that there's anything I should be ashamed of. But, reading your posts, I'll say that I like 70's and 80's pop, like Andreas.
And also, what Sanya said, Lady Gaga isn't too bad. But not that I can say that I really LIKE her.

Re: Do you have guilty music pleasures? Next to metal I like some Charts Songs (Lady Gaga for example), I like Musicals, irish/scottish folk, medieval music , classic, 70`s and 80`s. And I don´t think that I must be ashamed for that.
