To keep the database as small and this forum as fast as possible.

Please do not quote immidiatly after the post you reply to.
It is unnecessary since it is quite obvious what you talk about from the beginning.

If you still think something is worth quoting then quote that part and not the whole text.

And if you thought you where the first one to answer the post and you are unlucky not to, then you will be told that someone posted before you direct after you have pushed the submit button.

Once again, keep quotes to a minimum

Oh sorry! I didn't know that qouting a post increase the database and makes the forum slowly.
In future I'm more carefully when I use the quote button.

yes, but fulltext quoting after previous post is unnecessary since that's what we talk about

It's not the storage that matters, but a full-text-search on a database gets slower the more data there is to search (we had some problems that way at work...very bad thing). It doesn't matter, if you call a super computer your own, like JUGENE

And it's definitely unnecessary to quote the last post...you can just reach it by scrolling a bit.
