 Re: Arrrrrrrr! It's 6th of December in Belgium as well, the Dutchies just have to be weird about Sinterklaas / St. Nikolaus  Funny tho, I just got back from Paganfest, lots of pirate metal bands there this year

OK so Paganfest (with Swashbuckle and Alestorm, amongst others) wasn't exactly on the same day as Talk like a pirate day, but it was the same weekend so I say it still counts Lots of people in the audience dressed up as pirates... @ Andreas: It's just a fact you guys are the odd ones out by having Sinterklaas on 5th december, not my fault And I have no idea about who started the whole talk like a pirate thing... I know it has been around for a couple of years...

May get a telling off here, but ive had too much snakebite and as a result is a tad pissed, so i don't really care, Peter stop being such a stroppy arse when people go off topic, its not like the end of the world will happen............it adds extra to the conversation. Is it really such a big deal? *waits for a  from Peter* anyway back on topic, the talk like a pirate day even has pages on pirate talk, its really cool, or maybe i am sad.....
