Happy new year from me too! It was good, lots of fireworks, I got some heavy leftovers, could be fun. Plus I drank too much, but I had no hangover :D

Happy New Year!

How did you all spend the night? :)

I spend the night with my girlfriend and her friends for those who wants to know ^^

Did anyone left any promises for 2010? What was it?

I spread the word of getting more effective on my own projects. So this year I will start being just that. More effective!

Happy New Year everyone, and best wishes for 2010!

Didn't do much special here, just stayed at home and we watched Pirates of the Caribbean, whilst having some snacks and drinks. I did make a cocktail for the occasion (cranberry juice, wodka black and creme de cassis). Then at midnight we watched the fireworks whilst it was snowing outside, can't remember that ever happening here before :) followed by (traditionally) a bottle of champagne (well, actually this year it was moscato). And an hour later we watched the new year's countdown again at BBC2 :P

We just did the hot tub thing. ...and no my neighbors did not succeed in blowing themselves up. DAMN! I was really cheering for them this year. (Most of my neighbors aren't in the country legally, so thus my dislike.) It's funny, we were sitting down in the hot tub which is connect to the pool, so it's in the ground and watching a fire burn in the fire pit, but all we could smell was gun powder from fireworks.

My new year's resolution is to drink more water. I'm really bad about dehydrating myself.

No parties for me.
I just spent my time alone just as usual.

And now I am sounding once again more pathetic than I actually am, just like I was here getting attention or something

I had such a wonderful new year! Lots of food, lots of cocktails, my best friends and of course my wonderful bf together with a heap of games and a neighbour who burns hundreds of Euros each year by amazing fireworks :D

I forgot to mention that I closed 2009 with revenge. Like two years ago there was some asshole who threw an illegal piece of firework to our dog. Our dog didn't even react, even though the explosion was within 5 meters, but me and my elder brother were very pissed nonetheless.

Now, one of the most popular pieces of firework in this neck of the woods is some kind of mortar that shoots an explosive into the air and that explosive gives a heavy bang. Lots of people (ME ME ME!) put those things upside down occasionally, so that it will explode on the ground. That's what I tried while being 50 meters away from the house where they threw fireworks to our dog. But the thing fell down, and it aimed for their window... :D
