 DragonForce
Today is a very sad day for many DragonForce fans. The band officially announced that they have parted with their singer Zp! I know this band almost as long as Hammerfall and I really like them! Last week a friend and me were talking about Dragonforce and as soon they are back on tour we want go to their shows! I still can't believe it! The got along together for four albums...10 years...and now they are writing their fifth album and parted with him due insurmountable differences of musical opinion?!?!

 Re: DragonForce
He is OK but I am not shocked. They are sure to find a better one and hopefully the new guy makes better use of his language. Or maybe they will deside to just get a third guitarrist and become 100% instrumental

 Re: DragonForce
Of course Zp wasn't always a good singer but he is a great entertainer on stage! I think there are many people out there with powerful voices but can they do such a good live show? It is with great regret that DragonForce announce a parting of the ways with singer ZP Theart. This is due to insurmountable differences of musical opinion but the rest of the band sincerely wish ZP great success with his future projects.
While the creative core members have begun writing the fifth album, they have also started a worldwide search for a new vocalist. “We are looking for a powerful melodic singer, to write a new chapter of DragonForce with us.” said guitarist Herman Li.
Anyone wishing to audition for the vacant position should apply following the instructions at this web address www.dragonforce.com/audition

 Re: DragonForce
Muscically, Dragonforce is really boring. I mean, it's like the same song over and over again. I even realised that when I just got into metal and only knew Rammstein, Apocalyptica, Metallica, HammerFall and Stratovarius. The singer was nothing special though, but also not really bad like some people think.

 Re: DragonForce
It is sad when a band gets a new bandmember after such long time. The singer is not the trademark but his voice was/is very suitable for their wierd and fun music. I will miss him as singer for Dragonforce

 Re: DragonForce
This is very sad news I absolutely loved their shows when I saw them live, it just won't be the same with a different singer...

 Re: DragonForce
It's really strange! Just 5 days after Dragonforce confirmed that they did split with Zp, Power Quest mad public that they have parted with their singer and their gutiarist! Power Quest also said they have already a singer and are only looking for a new guitarist. Zp Theart recorded some Demos with Power Quest a while ago. It would be great if Zp would join Power Quest!

 Re: DragonForce
No actually it wouldn't be. And Power Quest has been kicking people out for a bit over a year now so this is not actually news. But Yet you made a good notice and I would never have thought of that and I admit that it actually is possible.

 Re: DragonForce
One of the Power Quest people said that they don't expect any problems with the new singer because the know him already for a long time. I did also read that Zp and the Power Quest members are friends. So, maybe that rumor is true.

 Re: DragonForce
Yeah that rumour is already all over the net. It seems more and more possible by every minute.
