 Re: Sabaton
*keeps laughing when reading comments like this* ...I will explain why, haha, as I assume you all have no clue what I find funny here A friend of mine uses "Metalizer" as a nickname on the internet (forums / msn / ... ) and he's using that nickname for years now (he started using that before Sabaton even existed) ... so everytime I read stuff like "getting Metalizer" I have to think of him, and then "...oh wait, they mean the album..."

 Re: Sabaton
You know I used to call myself since 2002 "Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken" on MSN. HammerFall ripped off my name for an album! But seriously, I used to call myself "Dr. Dré" in Red Alert (that was a long time ago), but I didn't knew that all those years some guy was using the same name to pollute many many airwaves and musicstores. And just to please Peter, I will say something ontopic: I read on Sabaton's website that they will do their last shows in September. Does that mean we can expect a new album in, say, 2010? Let's hope so

 Re: Sabaton
I got today my first Sabaton CD Attero Dominatus and I can't stop laughing about Metal Crüe. But for the other songs I wish I would understand less english. All the war and holocaust lyrics cause me a upset stomach after a while. Ther music is great and I will buy further albums. Are all their albums about war like Attero Dominatus? I prefer defenitely lyrics about demons, dragons, swords...and so on... but to many fantasy lyrics are unhealthy as well.

 Re: Sabaton
The only album they did without war history is Metalizer, their worst album IMO. Their best one is The Art of War, save it for the last, so you won't be disappointed by Primo Victoria and Metalizer And I don't think they've ever wrote a song with fantasy lyrics. I also don't think Joakim Brodéns voice suits fantasy lyrics

 Re: Sabaton
Sorry you weren't crazy about the subject matter. I acually like it. It's kinda like war history put to metal. My favourite is Primo Victoria probably because it's the heaviest. I can't wait to see them on September 11.

 Re: Sabaton
The lyrics are a bit scary to me because I had a pretty bad experience in my youth. I can't listen to songs like Attero Dominatus without thinking about it. But I like the sound of Attero Dominatus and Angel Calling. And I really enjoy to listen to Metal Crüe! It sounds so happy. I hope on the other albums are also songs like Metal Crüe. I can't imagine Sabaton singing about dragons and so on. 10 hours later...Although it gave me the creeps at the first moment I think I can get used to the war themed lyrics.

 Re: Sabaton
Ok too bad you're having trouble listening to them. But they do have another song like Metal Crüe, it's called Metal Machine!

 Re: Sabaton
Fist For Fight is a non war album and it was first to Metalizer, but I agree that they don't sound so well...
