Wuthering Heights
Now this is an awesome band. Perfect blend of power, prog and folk metal. Lots of switches in speed, which makes it even more interesting for me. Check them out!

Then I'm sure you got Salt. Pretty awesome indeed. Folk + metal (which is not the same as folk metal imho) is a truely epic mix

Yes I got the album. And you're right about this not being folk metal. Folk metal seems to need harsh vocals for some reason I can't understand. But the guy's voice is quite remarkable I have to say
