One of the older musical genres in this world. Let's see what you think about this. Personally, I'm a big fan of the New World Symphony of Antonin Dvorak.

I am not really that familiar with classical music, but it's mostly like any genre: some stuff I like, some stuff I don't. I mostly know the more famous ones. Some of my favourites are Grieg (Morgenstimmung and Hall of the Mountain King), Wagner (Ride of the Valkyries), Brahms (Hungarian Dance no 5), Tsjaikovski (Swan Lake). I quite like Nessun Dorma as well.

More recent probably, is Samuel Barber's Adagio For Strings.

I am a big fan of classical music because of the style it has. I would never go to a metal concert but I am really waiting forward to go see our towns orchestra (the one that played on Celestys Vendetta BTW).
I don't have that much time to listen to music nowadays but I have been giving a lot of my time for Vivaldi and Verdi lately.

I know a lot about the classical music, and yes, I like it too, but I can't really say that I'm listening to it or something. Because I appreciate it really and it's nice, but I can't listen to it for a long time.

Last Thursday I heard the Johannes Passion by Bach. I liked it alot, and since it's gonna be Good Friday soon, it was quite ontopic, so to speak. There was a tremendous tenor singer singing at the concert by the way.

Could you please define the meaning of the word "tremendous"? I always knew what it meant, but wasn't sure. When I looked for it on google, I'm even more confused because it doesn't have just one straight meaning. Please help.
