I'm a folk metaller to some extent. I like Elvenking's Heathenreel, and I have all the albums of Heidevolk. And some more, I forgot... as long as there's many clean vocals.

Heidevolk are good, i'm not too keen on the folk metal with 'screamy' vocals, with the exception of Ensiferum, it ruins a lot of the folky-ness

 Re: Korpiklaani?
Indeed! Can somebody please tell that to the majority of the folk metal bands? I could've enjoyed alot of those bands if it weren't for the vocals.

 Re: Korpiklaani?
Korpiklaani are good. Especially their booze songs Never went too deep with their discography so I don't know a lot about their music. But the things I listened are good. If you are looking for a good folk metal band try Eluveitie. They play celtic folk so if you are familiar with Irish music you will love these guys. They have growls but also feature a beautiful voice of their singer and hurdi-gurdi player (yes that's an instrument ) Ana. Everybody should check out songs like Omnos or Britcom

 Re: Korpiklaani?
i do like Eluveitie though i haven't listened to too much of their stuff, should probably buy an album of theirs
i highly recommend listening to the less popular korpiklaani songs-they're better than the famous music video ones, also if you're into instrumentals 'Ryyppajaiset' and 'pixies dance' are fucking awesome

I quite like some Korpiklaani songs, don't know the band all that well though. Have seen them live and have to say that was a fun party

 Re: Korpiklaani?
I'm pretty much of a folk metaller, but I haven't listened to this... I guess it's time to check something new out!
