OK guys, back from marseille since yesterday, a little bit tired, and now ready for the next gig tomorrow (I got 2 extra tickets... yesssss

)
So...
Start on tuesday morning at 8h00 with a friend of mine, meet some pals from the french Iron Maiden Forum in the train, share some beer... we arrived at marseille around 11h00, and went through the city to drop our stuff in the hotel. The "before" began in "vieux-port" (old harbour) in marseille downtown. Nice city, nice weather, lots of beer... more beer... ahem.. more beer. Aaaaargh, it's 15h00! We need food! A piece of meat and some more beer later

we took the underground to go to the "stade velodrome", the famous marseille arena. We arrived at 17h00, just in time to drink some beer, we were a little thirsty

We followed the crowd in the "Vel' ", after buying t-shirts, and discovered that we all bought our tickets during the same day, so our seats are in the same area, in the same row, in fact exactly at the same place
The show began around 18h00 with "cafe bertrand" a french rock band wich was there mostly because it is the band of the son of the AC/DC tour tickets seller in france. Well... not really interesting, I should say.
Around 19h00 The Answer is on stage, but the sound was better this winter in paris bercy, they didn't do as well as I remember. During this time we had a little talk with people around us, especially a guy near 55 (a former military man) who was there with his wife and his 2 childs (7 and 11), and who first saw AC/DC in 1978
Then I don't remember exactly, maybe near 20h45, the boys were here! Rock'n'Roll train! Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. I got immediatly goosebump. the whole crowd (ok, except the pit

) in the arena stood up, and didn't sat back during the next 2 hours
Oh my f...g GOD! It was the AC/DC I remember from paris in 2001. they were in great shape. The set list was almost the same than the previous gigs, but they played Dog Eat Dog too. They got a very good sound, not too loud, Brian maybe a little tired sometimes, but they ROCKS! Dirty Deeds, The Jack (I lost my voice singing... ahem SHOUTING "She's got the Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack", and at the same time laughing when the cameramen showed girls in the pit who were just wearing underwear), Shoot To thrill, TNT...

Yes, they are one the biggest rock band in the world, no problem with that

Angus was awesome when he played his Let There be Rock guitar solo (15 minutes...), taking the long drive in the center of the arena to finish on the elevator surrounded by fireworks and a rain of confettis.
And then it was the end of the show, Highway to Hell, and the encore with For Those... A HUUUUUGE firework, and it was all. We went back downtown, in search of something to eat (and yes, to drink

). Argh, 2 O'clock in the morning, it's time to go to bed!
A friend took a lot of pics (nearly 300 he said...) so here's a little taste:

He said he'll post others on the AC/DC topic of the hardware.fr forum (the guy's avatar is "el muchacho")
Well... I'm not sure I can sleep until tomorrow evening. and this time I'll be in the pit
