 Hello from Germany! \m/
My Name is Frederick, i´m 24 Years old and listening to Hammerfall for over 10 Years now! They´ve been the first Metal Band I really listened to. I´m also a hobby writer and artist and Hammerfall have always given me Ideas, Inspiration and Strength!!! Also they opened a Door for me, to a whole wonderland of Music. Through Hammerfall I discovered Helloween, through Helloween I discovered Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian and Masterplan... and so on, but it started with Hammerfall! =)

Haha, sorry that it took me so long to reply! =)
Yes, I´m a hobby-writer writing all kinds of fantasy! Mostly low Fantasy (our reality, but with fantasy elements added - like mistery/crime)... =)
How about you?

Fantasy mostly, kind of what starts in our world but gets transferred into another place and time usually. But I write books, so there are many other elements except the story-telling: psychology of characters, a bit of "life philosophy" and other stuff that's also important. Well that sounds interesting! Are they short stories or some "bigger projects"?

 Re: Hello from Germany! \m/
At the Moment there´s two bigger Books I´m working on and many short stories... I never really know where the journey´s going when I start writing though. The Book I´m trying to write at this moment seems to want me to start at different places simultaneously, if that makes any sense. I never have a plan while writing. Lately there´s a mistery/crime aspect sneaking into my stories, while the basement becomes more realistic... a bit like Stephen King, stilistically but not in quality I´m afraid! Did you finish a regular Book already? So far, I haven´t...

"The Book I´m trying to write at this moment seems to want me to start at different places simultaneously", yes, that makes a lot of sense! In fact, this fantasy project I'm working on is just written like that - all places and times synchronize by time! And that's actually kinda cool, because it gives you freedom to pass into another aspect when you get bored of writing one side of the story. Yes, I have, but I've finished that one at the age of 13 so I'm afraid it's neither for publishing nor for rereading So that doesn't count. But once I finish this one I'm working on right now, I think it should be just what I always expected from myself Well then, keep up the good work! Are you planning on publishing those books once you finish them?

 Re: Hello from Germany! \m/
I can´t tell... of course I do in my wishful thinking! =D
Mainly I write to clear my head, and to somehow save my ideas, no matter if it´s going to be the finished book or turning out to be a giant note pad - because once it´s saved I can go back and finish it anytime by listening the music associated with certain scenes, getting me back into the right mood. Especially Hammerfall during their Crimson Thunder Era are a big help when it comes to my fantasy stuff. When I listen to those tunes I can´t stop my mind from wandering off to these landscapes and fantasizing...
Who are your favourite writers?
