 Re: Holidays
Leaving for Sweden tomorrow. I can't wait. Should be fun. I've never been across the Atlantic before, so it should be interesting.

 Re: Holidays
Sweden, I still want to go there some day. But for a trans-Atlantic experience, Holland would be best

They ain't so special in there. Maybe I feel that way since it very similar to being here in Finland in a way. (but not at all )

 Re: Holidays
Well I actually will get to pass through Finland on my way. Wish I had longer to stay, but with work (mine and my husbands) that's not going to be possible. We are actually flying from Orlando to New York to Helsinki to Stockholm. I should be thoroughly jet lagged by the time I get there.

 Re: Holidays
Helsinki-Vantaa airport is always a nice place. After going all-over the world it just so great to return home and see this clean airport where people ain't bums.

 Re: Holidays
Helsinki and Arlanda were both really nice and clean, as is Orlando, JFK (New York) was a pig sty! My husband was like, "Can someone please wash the windows, this is nasty." We had a great time! Rockstad:Falun was really really really FUN! I don't think I met one mean or rude Swede the whole time I was there. We had a really great trip.

 Re: Holidays
^a hint from my side: DON'T! Holidays are meant to be relaxing, not to get a home base for one or two weeks and go every direction every other day. But maybe it works for you, when I did that with my parents it was really stressful.
Anyway my parents are on holidays with my sister and my youngest brother and the dog, for two weeks. They'll return this Saturday, which is a pity somehow. This is the ultimate relaxing, and still being able to take some responsibility (dish washing, clothes washing, go shopping and such).
