Post Charlemagne - Symphonic Metal project by Sir Christopher Lee
On April 12, Christopher Lee will release his symphonic metal project, called Charlemagne. I think it's a poem about the historical character, translated to sympho metal. Here's the myspace link:

I bought the CD at the weekend and listened to it.
Christopher Lee is a great man actor and artist and I have great respect for him. But I must say that I don´t like the Charlemagne cd.
The lyrics are really flat. Just a cursory story about the live and deads of a king. If the lyrics were more interesting and not that cursory I would like it.

The old king lays dying and is telling god what he had done good in his name. Then a narrator (I don´t like the narrators voice) tells almost everything of the kings life except one or two big happenings (they have an own song).

This Cd is really boring . :(

I listened to a sample a long time ago and was n ot impressed.
He indeed is great and it is nice thing for him to do something like this and I respect him for doing it.
Yet I can't say I like the music that much.

Well it was exactly what I expected, so I liked it. It's good and simple background music with a fantastic singer IMO.
