 Metal at the eurovision song contest? Hi, Shows like the "eurovision song contest" are not the type of entertainment I like but it's still quite a good possibility to hear some great bands. Does anyone know if a country sends a metal band to this contest?

Re: Metal at the eurovision song contest? Hell yeah. That would be great. Germany: Rage or Freedom Call Sweden: HammerFall and Finnland: Sonata Arctica Maybe all the good metal bands don't want to embarrass themselfes at such shows. It's not their level^^

Re: Metal at the eurovision song contest? It's my understanding that Sweden tried to get HammerFall to represent them in the Eurovision contest but they declined.
