It'a an awesome album!!!

Very short song-by-song impression

Sacred Worlds: Excellent blend of metal and classical music, with the intro and outro being new to me compared to the older version.
Tanelorn (Into The Void): Fast song with a catchy chorus. Will be a good live song I guess.
Road Of No Release: This song hasn't impressed me so far.
Ride Into Obsession: Now this is a cool and very fast song. I won't try headbanging to this song, I'll break my neck.
Curse My Name: Beautiful Celtic sounding song, which is a very good thing IMO. Pity about the beep from 2:49-3:34 though.
Valkyries: The beautiful one among the more "metal" songs. I fell in love with the chorus.
Control The Divine: Didn't impress me much either, but the chorus is nice and catchy.
War Of The Thrones: Beautiful, just like the acoustic guitar version of this song (album version has piano instead of acoustic guitars).
A Voice In The Dark: Their single this time, fast and Guardian-ish. Reminds me of Punishment Divine, only less complex.
Wheel Of Time: Like Sacred Worlds, perfect bland of classical music and metal, with a touch of oriental music. Magic.

I held the album in my hands today, 14,99, looked at the cover, turned it around...and put it back to the other CDs. Today I wasn't in the mood for buying a new CD. Instead I got a book.

Food for the mind, very intellectual.

But 15 euros for the new BG isn't that bad. Why don't you try it, I wouldn't say you'll be blown away by ATEOT (because it's a personal thing), but it's interesting for everyone who likes melodic metal I'm sure.

Blind Guardian is definitely my second favourite band!!! They're GREAT!!!
I just LOVE Nightfall In Middle-Earth!!!
