Re: What was the last album you bought? So some comments on my latest purchases:
Diablo - Icaros:
My favorite Melodic Death Metal band (one of the few I like) Like always some really great and some average stuff. Some riffs are really interesting and the instrumental work is overall superb. Some of the stuff has still to open up but this is actually quite straightforward and fast stuff for Diablo. The drumming is once again incredible and there is more of it now. I understand why Heikki Malmberg is a big name in the scene. An interviewer in a television interview once asked the singer how does it feel to have Finlands best drummer playing your stuff. Yet even though I like Rainer Nygårds vocals a lot the vocals parts on this album aren't nearly as interesting as in Eternium for example.
Rating: 8½/10
I will write the rest later.

When I was on a vacation in Montenegro a month ago, I bought there two albums: Helloween-Gambling With The Devil and HammerFall-Masterpieces (I already heard this, I had it on my computer, but it was downloaded from the internet and the sound was AWFUL  so now I bought the original  )
