Paris Lambrou initiated the ASTRONOMIKON project with Nicholas Leptos in 2008, in Nicosia - CYPRUS.
Since long ago, people around the world have associated the heavens, the stars and the patterns they make in the sky with their gods and heroes.

Through the music of ASTRONOMIKON, find out about the gods and heroes of different cultures around the world.
The band is currently working on a concept album that is expected to be released early in 2011.
The story is the myth of Perseus, the first of the mythic heroes of Greek Mythology whose exploits in defeating various archaic monsters provided the founding myths in the cult of the Twelve Olympians. Perseus was the hero who killed Medusa, tamed Pegasus and claimed Andromeda, having rescued her from a sea monster.
