What do you think about your Birthday??
Well, as Mayhem said, birthdays is nothing for ***him/her***... But, I think it's a day which GOD gives to us... I think GOD created us, so one day of the year I can celebrate this present!! ***I don't remeber if you said of you are a man or woman?

HIM! But it's always nice to see that people show that they think about you when they congratulate you. On the other hand, sometimes I'm a bit too shy or I just wanna mess around with people I don't know that long yet, like my working group on the university, and see what happens during the day. On nice thing you can do is congratulating someone else with his/her birthday and when they say hey it isn't my birthday, you just say: "Oh I'm sorry, I thought we had our birthday on the same day". Got it from The Office, but it's a nice one

Re: What do you think about your Birthday??
Ok we are going to have to have this conversation all over again. Year and day are such earthly things that we shouldn't think this spirit creature would care about them especially if that is just what we would like it to think. Overall the way we imagine this creature is something that is similar to us and something that reminds of ourselves but has no limitations like we do. (This is also something Sigmund Freud said too) And since in the old days the way people thought of god was different the only reason we can come up with is that it is just because people who define this god changed and so changed the definition. And since time does not exist and the actual moment of birth is not the beginning of life or humanity so what real reason is there to celebrate. We are just celebrating earth spinning around the sun and a certain phase of the spin. oh and as Andreas confirmed I am 150% male. Age is also a think people define themselves so it should not really have an impact on me. And as for underaged limitations and such, well that doesnt give anything new to me. Actually up here in north namedays were a lot more popular since people did not care about birthdays and often did not know when they were born. Now it's the other way around.

Re: What do you think about your Birthday??
Birthday is the day that counts how many times the Earth went around the sun since you were born. It helps you to know how much life (approximately) you have left. It can be celebrated because you get more and more life experience every year. Now, if God had created the Earth, Sun and us (and I stick to the theory that he did), than he did give a birthday to us, that's for sure. But let's not discuss this Christian-Atheist thing again, I'm really bored with it. Me, myself, I don't take birthday SO seriousely, it's not the most important day in the year because I like New Year for example much more than birthday I have more fun than, and that's for sure. But I do like to celebrate my birthday in the small circle of my very best friends and I always do my best to make it special.

Re: What do you think about your Birthday??
I can't know. I have never died and one can never have memories that are not his/hers since they are material.

It's more like Agnostic vs. Theists My point overall is why to presume something you can't know.

Re: What do you think about your Birthday??
You can't know because you never died. You don't believe in GOD because you never see Him. But, you believe to scientists (even and if you never saw them)... What the scientists have to say about the other life? This question is off topic... So if you want to answer click here

Re: What do you think about your Birthday??
So you believe in magic and ghosts and stuff. That is simply called being superstitious. And back on topic now.
