Yep, well aware, but people do celebrate Christmas on Dec 25. Though I'd heard that date was chosen only because it was an existing holiday for the people they were trying to convert. Whether that is true or not I have no idea. The subject matter just isn't all that important to me. That's why it's kind of a running joke.

Most times I hate my Birthday because my past 8 birthdays were pretty bad. But basically my birthday is a good reason to bake a nice cake, have a good cup of coffee or have a barbecque and invite some friends.
It is just an other reason to celebrate something. Birthday is a reason to celebrate myself and my life but when I'm alone the day means nothing to me.

It was the Roman celebration for the sun Sol Invictus. They were afraid people would revolt if they could not have a party in Christianity.
The year however is off because a middle-age monk miscalculated and we didn't dare to change the date later on.
