 Re: Holidays
Wageningen. Awesome place But seriously, you could try one of our five islands, Texel, Vlieland, Terschelling, Ameland, Schiermonnikoog. Some of them don't allow most people to get their car with them, and they're really quiet and relaxed places this time of the year. I'd go for Vlieland. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vlieland

 Re: Holidays
It all depends on what kind of place would you like to visit

 Re: Holidays
We actually have. There are some nice castles to visit: Loevestein, Muiderslot and Doorwerth Castle (near to my place). Maybe more! Just watch: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loevesteinhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muiderslothttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doorwerth_CastleSome cities are also worth visiting, for instance Maastricht (has a nice cathedral!), Nijmegen (place where I study) and Amsterdam. Wageningen, the place where I live, has been a very small city in the Medieval times, it has a nice atmosphere. But as I said, very small. Maybe later I'll make a more detailed post. Oh, and let's not forget the Zuiderzeemuseum! PS: avoid the provincy Flevoland at all costs.

 Re: Holidays
I've always been the fan of mountains!!! But last year I've been to Paris and I must confess, it's great! The only thing I didn't like was the food. I'd like to visit Germany (I've been to Munich, but I want to visit some places more up north ) but I think it wouldn't be much fun in your case! So, when I look closely, I'd reccomend: Sweden maybe! I'd like to go there. But somewhere north, in the mountains or something.

 Re: Holidays
A hint: Don't go to Malmö You could also try Åland. people often go there with just bikes and go all around the islands.

 Re: Holidays
Thanksgiving is coming up here. This is the first year in quite a few we are all getting together and I don't have to make the entire dinner myself. Just making a few sides. I do have to do them in both regular and vegetarian since my mom is a vegetarian. Kind of funny since I am an avid hunter. Oh well, no big deal really.
