 Re: This forum celebrates one year! It's cheaper for me to go to a country by ship than with plane  So I would vote for a country near the sea!!

Re: This forum celebrates one year! Since I'm currently still unemployed I can't afford to travel far, but I'd love to try to be present should it be within driving distance.  If I should find a job any time soon I won't be able to take days off from work (haven't worked last year).

Re: This forum celebrates one year! Well, most active forum members live in a country which is near the sea. It only depends on which sea you'd prefer.

Re: This forum celebrates one year! I don't think taking a cruise to the caribbean and jumping of the boat to get to the states will end up any cheper than just buying a plane ticket.
And then there are other seas than the mediterranean too.

Re: This forum celebrates one year! A friend of mine lived for a long time in Italy. He often had to sail to the west or north of France and sometimes he sailed to German habors. It's defenitely possible if somebody has a boat and enjoy long sailing tours.
