Why did you not start this topic yourself then? Stefan Elmgren has short fingers too, but still can play, Oscar Dronjak plays with his teeth so... And thanks by the way. I'm happy someone listened to that shit

First - I don't know why I didn't start it, but at least you have now done that and that's the main thing. =P Secondly - that's not shit, not at all! =P I mean... you have composed and released your very own single, that is something. Perhaps we will hear about you guys someday, who knows? And yeah... the grandmaster Stefan Elmgren... I know. Gosh. He's more than amazing - even with short fingers. My Brazilian friend said that I should keep on practicing, practicing and practicing, harder and harder, and then I would eventually succeed... but what have I done - just given up. I know. It's all about me. Ha-ha, I need some more that famous Finnish obstinacy. But well, I have to throw all kinds of guitars out of my head now... and start writing an essay in Swedish. Hopefully it won't kill me.

 Re: Any musicians among us?
I've listened to your music. "Falling Down" and "Dark Sorrow" seemed to me between Trash-Metal and True-Metal. Is this your intension? I like the heavy rythm and the solo-lines. What is your part on it? In a live situation you will mighty go ahead with it, I guess. That brings fun. "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", from old boy Bob Dylan, you played in the style of Guns'N'Roses. Respect for the solos... For me it is a long run of changing from pure accoustic guitar, I played for 15 years, to heavy distorted e-guitar, I try to play since last spring. Here is a heavy demo of my status quo. I wrote the song last week, it's Doom-Metal, I guess, and if you like to dance with the Devil, don't think twice... here comes "WE ARE THE DEVIL" http://www.myspace.com/tyrantheartTyrant Heart

 Re: Any musicians among us?
We are two guitarist and I don't solo on any of those tracks I'm afraid. I'm more like Oscar, playing the riffs and some solo's. And I did not choose the trash theme... I prefer Heavy Metal as HammerFall plays it

 Re: Any musicians among us?
I've been playing guitar for 20 years, bass and drums for almost 15 years. I also dabble a bit on the keyboard/piano.

 Re: Any musicians among us?
Been playing electric guitar for 5 years now. I've been told I'm pretty good, and have achieved a sort of fame on a local level, playing the club/pub circles. I've only been in metal bands but my style is more bluesy/80's rock - I'm largely finding my own style at the moment, but it's coming out as quite a flourishing, melodic style. I developed RSI a few years back and since then I've pretty much had to start again (although thankfully most of my strength has come back to my hand) and now I'm better than ever . My main guitar at the moment is my Ravenwest RG350 - lovely, green and has a real nice vine inlay. My other axe is a Fender American Deluxe Strat. Butterscotch, Incredible s/c sound. I would use it more but it's back home - I'm not bringing a £1000+ guitar to uni with me. No way. For now I use a peavey bandit 65w from 1985.

 Re: Any musicians among us?
I don't play any instruments, don't have the patience to practise I would like to take up singing lessons though. Not that I'm particularly good of it (that I know) but I love to sing and I love to be on a stage (I know that from our dance recitals, twice a year). So I'm currently on the lookout for a singing teacher...

 Re: Any musicians among us?
Yesterday I 've got six hours to record the guitar track, the singing parts and mixing for my metal song "Tyrant Heart" related with the kind of my avatar. It's now a 6 min mighty story about inquisition. There's no effects on it, only my guitar and my metal vox amplug made the sound. If youn want to listen: http://www.myspace.com/tyrantheartIf anyone else have a song we could listen to, don't hesitate to show it. By the way, the songs of "Crimsonsigns", the band of our boardmember Ohtacaro, are worth to listen. The link is above. Show us your music... Tyrant Heart

 Re: Any musicians among us?
A tip when you record your own music is to use a plain base when recording it and use the distortion effects after Sounds pretty nice anyway Here is a video from the gig we had the 25th of April 2009. the track is called Eyes of the Damned
