That pretty much describes why many of the oldies didn't like the forum he has, and why the fanclub forum doesn't deserve to be the official one. It has looked like from Day 0 he just wants it become the official one so he would be something, not for really good will. Like, you're a big fan of the band and do things for free, but actually you want something back for your deeds... Thats like saying to your friend "yeah sure call me anytime and I'll help you" but then asking for money if your friend really needs help.

And who are you to know this all? Something tells me you might be one of the oldies... Anyway, I kinda agree with you. The ToS forum seemed to me as a kind of exclusive place. Either you're accepted there or not. So I never liked the atmosphere somehow and kept lurking around there without posting

I can tell this much: I never liked being there cause no one was active. We have written more here today then they do in a month

Definitely! I checked on the HF site every other week to see if a forum had been created, but after a while I kinda gave up on it.

It's only quite recently that I've gone back to the ToS forum, and it was exactly the same as when I left - the same few people talking largely about utter crap. It started out as the anti-Ymmo forum (I miss Ymmo... she was nice, even if I banned her...), where a small group would go to bitch about her. After the forum went down, most of the oldies went their seperate ways, leaving that same group to the ToS forum. Few came, fewer stayed.

I'm glad a new forum has been created, even if it is, as LJ says, made using a crappy free software. It's a fresh start, which I think is what we need.

We all need fresh starts, and phpBB forums are better then invisionzone crap boards!

To be honest I don't like hang out on them, they are buggy!

We were damn active, even before you returned, and we still are and always will be.
And everyone, who says, that we'd be an "elite clique" is a fuckin' liar! We welcome every new member like a brother/sister. That's what our forum is about and that's why Ohtacaro has been banned from there. Because not only, he stabbed LJ, who concidered him a friend and brother, in the back. He was banned, because he betrayed everything, Heavy Metal and especially bands like HammerFall stand for:
brotherhood, loyalty, respect, honor
That's not only words, that's what I live.
I'm still pissed about that shit, but what I'm even more pissed of, is some "oldies" who didn't have the guts, to speak their mind in the other forum, but as soon as there's a new "official" one, they start bitchin' around about us.
But I know one thing for sure: This forum will go down, like all the others before. And when this one's long time forgotten, our forum will still be there. Maybe it'll look the same, it looks today, but who gives a fuck? Why should anything perfect be changed?
Leaving you for now with this, hoping I could wake up the one or other.
