 Avantasia
Well, since the two new Avantasia albums will come out in the beginning of April, and the song Dying for an Angel is available online for streaming. Here it is: http://www.bravewords.com/knuckletracks/?tid=0Personally, I love the song, midtempo, catchy chorus... really looking forward to the double release. Oh, and of course it's allowed to discuss the whole discography here

 Re: Avantasia
Is that the song with Klaus Meine? I listened to the song a few days ago it was neither good nor bad. I guess I have just to get used to the song.

 Re: Avantasia
I like it as well! April will become an expensive month... Rhapsody + 2x Avantasia, oh dear. BTW: If you click on Andreas' link, then listen to Orphaned Land as well! A wonderful Israeli band and a wonderful song with some oriental details

 Re: Avantasia
April's not gonna be cheap indeed... as you say, Avantasia (2x), Rhapsody, and also Christopher Lee's symphonic metal project. And Masterplan maybe.
And yes, that song of Orphaned Land is great. Pity they use lots of cookiemonster vocals on other songs.

 Re: Avantasia
Indeed. But if you just pick out the non-growl songs, it's awesome. Christopher Lee's symphonic metal project? Never heard of this! Did I miss something?

 Re: Avantasia
So, anybody else checked the new albums already? Personally, I like them alot. On some parts, it isn't exactly metal anymore, but hey, who says metal is the only awesome music style?

 Re: Avantasia
I can't believe I've never written here anything! Today I wanted to make a thread about Apocalyptica and accidentally came across the one about Avantasia. Although I've heard only Metal Opera, I daresay that they're really good, really a kind of music that sounds as it was made for me personally!
