Manowar isn't the only band who has that problem... Only usually it are the fan girls (The Beatles, Elvis, Tokio Hotel, etc... )

Oh, and something totally different, I don't really consider Battle Hymns MMXI to be a cash grab, I mean sure it's in many ways just Battle Hymns, but the thing is, their sound has changed a LOT since 1982, so it seems not entirely unreasonable that they re-record the album. In any case, if re-recording is a huge cash grab, then in my opinion, re-mastering is an even bigger cash grab, and not only do I not think that, but plenty of bands re-master, and that would mean there are plenty of bigger cash-grabbers than Joey DeMaio. I don't know, maybe he is just an asshole. I've never seen him interviewed. Still, if it helps to clarify why I'm willing to give him a chance, I refuse to believe that Metallica ever sold out, they just stopped making good music between the black album and Death Magnetic, because they wanted to do '70s rock, not because they wanted to make craploads of money. After all, I don't think you can un-sell out, and they definitely didn't sell out with Death Magnetic, so I don't think they sold out in the first place. Wow I'm ranting a lot. Back to Manowar. You said earlier that Manowar made everyone think we're stupid, but when I thought about it, here stateside, nearly everyone else who listens to shitty pop music is too stupid to notice any of us being stupid. It might just be cause I live in New York, but I think even if you walked the streets in full black metal gear, face paint, spikes and everything, the only people that would look at you more than twice are the police. If you live in the states, nowadays almost all non-metalheads instantly think of death metal when they hear metal. So... over here, if anyone thinks metalheads are stupid, it's death metal's fault, not Manowar, or any other melodic metal band's. Hmm... I really hope Peter doesn't visit this forum anytime soon, otherwise I'm gonna get in big trouble for ranting so much outside the off-topic forum...
Edit: Crap! Sorry, I just realized that part of my rant was in response to something that somebody said in the DragonForce forum. I read that earlier today, but didn't have time to respond, and was thinking about what I would say during the day, so that came out in this rant. MY BAD! The part I'm talking about is the dressing in black metal garb thing.
