It's one of my favourites bands, an awesome band with amazing songs!!

And some bad news: NEW VOCALIST

This is the worst thing for a band, not always but the most times....

In the wake of vocalist Matt Barlow’s retirement, dozens of demos and resumes flooded Iced Earth’s management team. But one name kept popping up – Into Eternity vocalist Stu Block, who has been named the new lead singer for Iced Earth.

They were quite OK with Ripper on vocals. And there was another nice album without him, called Horror Show.

Horror Show is actually my favourite album.

Iced Earth is an awesome band!! But now with the new vocalist I don't know...

Ohh yes I know!!!! The best vocalist they ever had!!! STU rules! His voice looks like with Barlow's voice, and some times comes to your mind that Ripper leads the vocals! I saw them live in Cyprus on 17th of December 2011.

...and that performance was extremely fantastic according to Jon Schaffer. And for that, the band is going to make the official CD/DVD recording in Cyprus on 19th of August 2012.

A HUGE honor for my SMALL island. It's an island with only 750.000 citizens and the event will be on an ancient amphitheater!! Creepy moments!!

Stu Block is an awesome singer. I love all the Iced Earth albums with him on vocals. And his version of Dante's Inferno.
