 Re: What was the last album you bought? Yeah its a good album.
The best out of those would have to be The Star One album however.
Adamantra is also good but the vocals on some songs on it were worse than I expected. I wouldn't mind them doing an instrumental album next time around as their playing is the best thing with their music.
The Infamous Stratovarius debut album was just for the collection. Well sure some of the stuff is ok but I don't think I will ever be a huge fan of it.
Derek Sherinians album was a really solid intrumental prog record for me and as for intrumental stuff I was a bit dissappointed when I noticed how many songs have vocals on the Yngwie album. It was still awesome too.
Tyr and Dream Theater seem to go right no matter which album of theirs I buy and it worked once again quite nicely. Lay of the Thyrm may even be Tyrs best album so far especially with the limited editions bonus tracks (great covers especially Stargazer which is one of my favorite songs in its original form)
