I have to admit I don't listen to the lyrics that much and the bits that I understand I don't take serious at all. But I also prefer the "old style" stuff and hope the the Zombies and Demons will vanish again. When I bought a HF button at their last gig in Cologne I only realized when I got home that there was also the statement "God is for beginners, Satan is for winners" in small letters on it. Actually, what do you mean by "I would not sign that in real life"? I don't quite understand what you wanted to say. Anyway, yes, I noticed that too, they sold T-Shirts with that writing on them. But, in fact, I'm not sure how seriously should we take that... HF was never much into that stuff, what does it mean now, I don't know, but I certainly wouldn't take them too seriously.

I saw that shirt too, indeed. Quite lame if you ask me, is it supposed to look tough? It's pure marketing of course, but it's not a decent way of marketing.
Besides, God may be for beginners, modesty is an important christian value. But satan for winners? More like sinners...

But i do love Hammerfall and i do care about the lyrics, i will never praise a song who has lyrics or a chorus that says that number ...however,i understand the "deeply" atmosphere that gives to the album.

I just hope they dont end up like Edguy on the next albums.....

Deeply atmosphere achieved with lyrics but not with the music. If that's what they wanted to get to, they could work on it some more.
