I've recently read "the Eyes Of The Dragon" by Stephen King, never found it boring. Same with "The Shining". Then again, that's different for everyone. He doesn't really have all that much descriptions when compared to the old Latin texts we used to read in high school :D Once read a literal prozaic translation of the Ilias, talk about long descriptions

Am wanting to read "The Gunslinger" by King, but I'm not finding the time to start...

Hahahahahaha, I didn't even think about comparing Stephen King to old Latin texts  Subjects in his books are quite interesting, but it's really too much of getting into the topic and too little of developing happenings, at least that's my impression after reading this book "The Black House" (Stephen King & Peter Straub, actually). "Too slow action", to put it that way. I didn't read it completely, I stopped a month ago because currently, I'm too busy...

About Eragon, I wanted to watch the movie, but I never did for some unknown reason. But I believe it's interesting, I heard others' impressions which are quite good, in fact.

It's just been very busy around here the last few weeks, seems like it's finally getting better and I actually found time to start :P So far it's quite intriguing, am curious to find out more. I like how he writes in short chapters, makes it easier to read a bit and pause again (I don't like to stop reading in the middle of a chapter). "The Eyes Of The Dragon" was also written in the same "short chapter" style.

I'm always in a hurry and still manage to do nothing. :( I don't know, I'm always forcing myself to do what I have to do and I end up taking a nap after turning off the computer, instead of studying or something.

Ine, I know, I too don't like pausing in the middle of the chapter! :D
