For me it's actually even easier sometimes to play fast melodies without the pick. But it's probably mostly about the habit... More difficult solos and stuff is a lot easier to play with your fingers, if you ask me.

Probably, I didn't go to the music school for 6 years in vain.

I said "I didn't go IN VAIN" - for no reason, that is.

I finished it.
But the truth is, I play guitar very rarely these days. I got bored of music school, especially in the last two years, I was thinking to stop. But I said to myself "if you got this far, you'll get the f**king certification that you've finished it!"
I used to go to competitions, have fun, but it later turned out to be a bit too much, I'm actually a pretty lazy person.
But I learned to play it very well, actually. Although, in music school it's mostly classical music, and I know how to read notes better than tabs these days. That's why, if I ever had a band, I'd be a great solo guitarist, not rhythm! (and that's mostly harder thing)
