My parents will care and in the end say that I didn't make all plans in time. And I've asked them for thousand times already.

 Re: Blind Guardian
Hey, anyone heard anything from Memories of a Time to Come? It's not bad.. Although these versions of the songs are not a lot different from the first ones...
And yes, anyone followed that Guardian TV (while it was active) - or whatever its name was?

 Re: Blind Guardian
Of course I followed BG TV And MoaTtC is the first 2012 album I bought. Especially the rerecorded songs are interesting, except for that I like And Then There Was Silence not that much. And the folky version of The Bard's Song (forest) is still better. But my favourite remixed song so far is Somewhere Far Beyond. The staccato riffing almost makes it sound like Iced Earth. But better.

 Re: Blind Guardian
Honestly, I like the re-recorded Valhalla even more than the original version. It's somehow "more melodic". I don't know how to explain that, but the original sounds more "chaotic" (in the negative way). Same as Majesty, remix is better. To me.
But yes, I absolutely agree about The Bard's Song.

 Re: Blind Guardian
Yeah, to be honest I prefer the new Valhalla too. The old one had not a good production.

 Re: Blind Guardian
I love Blind Guardian. I saw them live during the A Twist in the Myth Tour in 2006, and they put one of the greatest performances I've ever seen. They played "And Then There Was Silence", my favorite epic power metal song ever!!! I think the A Twist in the Myth album is just great. I should check out their new album, At the Edge of Time.

 Re: Blind Guardian
If you haven't checked ATEOT yet, then... you haven't heard the best 2010 album yet!

 Re: Blind Guardian
Correction: you haven't heard Blind Guardian's best release (although in their case it's really difficult to determine what is BEST) after Nightfall in Middle Earth! Btw, have you read the news on www.blind-guardian.com? No shows until autumn 2014 No seeing or hearing from Guardian, no seeing or hearing from HammerFall (although me and Joacim sometimes exchange messages ) until then... *sigh* at least I'll see Freedom Call!

 Re: Blind Guardian
I never said that NIME isn't the best BG album, but for the year 2010 ATEOT is the best album in my opinion Yeah, I'm also running dry on live shows. My last two metal concerts were both Freedom Call I believe... anyway, Kamelot might be a possibility in November, and VERY maybe Iced Earth in December.

 Re: Blind Guardian
Well, I finally listened to ATEOT, and holy sh*t... that was an epic, phenomenal album. They never cease to amaze me.
