Haha, I think I must have left an impression indeed, because I went to Chicago in March 2010, and at the Antwerp gig last November 2011 I said to him at the meet&greet "I'm not sure you remember, but I'm the crazy Belgian that was at the Chicago gig last year..." and the response was "ahh, I thought you looked familiar but couldn't place it" and "aren't all Belgians crazy?" (now what does that make of me, if other Belgians already call me crazy )

A week ago I went to see Freedom Call in Kerkrade. In Legend (piano metal) also played, not that special. We missed the opening act Gun Barrel (don't care). Freedom Call heerscht. The bass player just became a father, so they had their earlier bass player, Ilker Ersin, playing. He gave me his pick. I thought that was so nice that I bought his album (Powerworld - Human Parasite). Not bad. Plus, I got to take the concert poster away from the venue. With permission of course

Did I ever mention that I have a poster for the HF show in 2009? I mean only the one to announce that show among the others in Belgrade that April, but still...

Last week I went to see Judas Priest / Saxon in Kerkrade. Amazing show! Only downside was that the security apparently didn't properly do their job... we were front row, and during Saxon the front row fences already started to shift. Only after we alerted security they pushed the fences back into place and bolted them together. When Priest started, the crowd went wild and the fences started to shift and angle forward again. Security still found it amusing at first By the time the fence started to angle dangerously far to the front and the people on the first row started to try and pull them back again, security rushed in to fix the problem. The entire night they were standing at the sides of the stages, not in the front stage area But all in all it ended well. Never known anything like this to happen though, the crowd wasn't even that wild...

Also saw Metallica last Monday, with their Black Album tour! Absolutely amazing show! Definitely worth it

Seems like shows over there are quite similar to the ones in Serbia. The thing with the fence is really familiar. A show can't pass without fence being pushed 2 meters in front of where it should be... Allright, SKC is small after all and the fence is very close to the stage anyway (how else could I get high-five from Joacim on HF show?), but still it exists, and every time, security guards have to do their job properly.

I believe that show was awesome!

By the way... Was anyone on Metalfest in Croatia? At first I was sad because I couldn't go... Then I changed my mind. Did you hear about Megadeth? About what happened?!
