Hi there folks,

I really love Hammerfall's Dreamland song from the Legacy of Kings album. I love listening to it while working, and playing it (poorly) on the guitar. The song subject is dreams - which it's fairly obvious by it's title and references as the Ivory Gate ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gates_of_horn_and_ivory ).

So, now to the question: the lyrics goes: "surrender your nights or choose my way". Does anybody knows which is this other way mentioned? I'm fairly curious about lucid dreaming, and though it could be the case. Anybody knows if Hammerfall members practice/are interested in lucid dreaming, or anything of the kind - astral projection or dream yoga (yoga nidra), maybe, I don't know?

Well, just curious. Glad if anyone could share thoughts!

I'm curious about lucid dreaming too, but I, honestly, highly doubt that HF has ANYTHING to do with it.
In my opinion, this "other way" is everything else except that "my way", in other words, "Dreamland".

I also absolutely love this song and have listened to it since 2000 many times in my personal player at high volume

I truly doubt that the band is into lucid dreams.
