 Sabaton
So I saw those guys on the 27th of February, together with HammerFall. I dropped in just in the middle of their concert, when we parked we heard Panzer Battalion through the wall of 013. We had little traffic problems, sadly Lots of reviewers in Holland said they were better than HF that night. I didn't realise anything like that, I just had a good evening. But anyway, are there any fans on this forum, except for me?

 Re: Sabaton
I'm not a huge fan of Sabaton. But I like their stuff! Normally I hate the warm-up bands, Sabaton where the first ones who made me jump. That does not say a little about them

 Re: Sabaton
Sabaton, what a great band! Well... to be honest, I have only listened to their album Art of War which is simply awesome. Haven't found their other albums yet... but especially Primo Victoria sounds interesting, I'd like to try that one. The Price of a Mile was the first Sabaton song that I heard, and it's still one of my favourites among Ghost Division, Cliffs of Gallipoli and Union (Slopes of St. Benedict). And I just can't help loving Talvisota since I'm a Finn. Joakim sounds somewhat sympathetic when he sings "Talvisota!" in the middle of the song, it's just so amazing. =D I was stunned when I first heard that, thought that my ears were just probably cheating on me or something... Yep. I like Sabaton, they're great. (-:

I've heard only a few of their songs, but I've liked it. Especially Primo Victoria.

 Re: Sabaton
I'm a big fan, have seen them live 6 times by now. Very nice guys as well, 1st November 2008 they did a headline show in Hof Ter Lo, Antwerp (same Venue HammerFall played last week), which was completely sold out. After the show we spent a few hours hanging out with the band backstage, lol (I have no idea how my friends arranged that, but it was fun, haha). I have quite funny pics of that as well.

 Re: Sabaton
Yes, The Art of War is their best album IMO, most of my favourites come from that album. Especially The Price of a Mile is really good, and has a suitable atmosphere for the First World War. You should! I tink Metalizer isn't that interesting, it's a bit different from their other albums, it has some good songs though. But if I had to choose between Primo Victoria and Attero Dominatus, I'd choose Attero Dominatus. The title track is really really good, and In the Name of God, Angels Calling and Light in the Black are also among my personal favourites. Primo Victoria is still great though. Both albums are quite similar, so there's no big difference.

 Re: Sabaton
I really like what little Sabaton I can find online. Finding their CDs has been kind of interesting. I went to BestBuy and asked if they had any of their CDs and they guy had no idea what I was talking about. So I ordered Primo Victoria and Attero Dominatus on amazon.com. I've decided to stay way from the $45 imports for now, until I know if I really like them or not.

 Re: Sabaton
I totally agree... haven't really found them in any CD store yet. I do order many of my CDs from online shops like Levykauppa Äx, so I could actually look for them via Internet... Thanks for your review, Andreas, I should definitely try some of those!
