 Kamelot
I searched but I did not find a thread for this band.... It's old news, but I'm sad Roy Khan left this band. I've heard Tommy Karevik with Kamelot and his band Seventh Wonder, and he's a great singer. I think Thomas Youngblood is definitely capable of writing songs for Karevik's voice. I think Karevik is very well capable of revitalizing the band's sound. But I will miss Roy Khan, who happens to be my favorite singer, and let's face it, he was the heart and soul of Kamelot's music... I was lucky enough to see Kamelot during the Black Halo Tour in 2006 in New York City. It was perhaps the best and most fantastic show I've ever seen, and was only rivaled by Blind Guardian from my concert experiences. Roy Khan put on an absolutely fantastic performance, and it was really a perfect show with Epica opening and Simone Simmons guest appearing on "The Haunting (Somewhere in Time)." A magical night in NYC. My top 10 Kamelot songs: The Haunting (Somewhere in Time) The Fourth Legacy Center of the Universe Karma Don't You Cry Wander The Mourning After (Carry On) Moonlight Abandoned Ghost Opera What do you think of Kamelot?

 Re: Kamelot
i heard Moonlight and Don't Cry my opinion is Don't Cry - it's a ballad, as i heard voice is very tight.... by the melody it would be great if he had been low growling Moonlight - very good song and i like it if i would go further i would find great song, surely, but i have enough bands to listen right now.... Kamelot is an awesome band

 Re: Kamelot
Such a pity Roy Khan left the band... it's always difficult to replace vocals... My favourite Kamelot song is probably March Of Mephisto.

 Re: Kamelot
How come Kamelot didn't have the thread? However... I like the band, but still, I still haven't heard a lot from them. I know the whole Ghost Opera album and some of the songs from The Fourth Legacy, and here and there some other song... But I was planning on getting into their stuff these days, don't worry, they're a fine band.

You go buy the Epica album RIGHT NOW young lady! And The Black Halo, that's the sequel. And Karma.

 Re: Kamelot
I heard that those two are concept albums, and I LOVE them. I wanted to start out with those, yes.

 Re: Kamelot
Hmm speaking of metal albums, you sure it can beat The Metal Opera?

 Re: Kamelot
Tricky question. As a whole, I'd say that Epica is better. But the Metal Operas have some really standout songs.
