 Alestorm I came accross this band on the Rhapsody of Fire forum, and I liked it instantly. I know there is another thread about this (Not only a pirate in Speak your mind), but I just thought it was a good idea to start an official thread about them  So, any fans? And perhaps to feed a discussion: I saw the EP Leviathan in a CD shop in the black metal section. I'm under the impression that it is Power Metal, generally speaking.

Re: Alestorm They ARE pirate metal. More so than Running Wild. Running Wild is ok, but it's pirate lyrics, not pirate metal. Alestorm gives me the whole piratey feel with every element of their music. There's also "ninja metal" .... Kinda funny, but does NOT sound good. To me at least... I believe that band is called Ninja Magic.

Re: Alestorm LOL! Musically they're not too bad - not very ninjary but not bad. Vocals however are amongst the worst I've ever heard. He's just shrieking
