Post Re: Your Childhood Playlist
Okay, let's talk about my childhood playlist. When I was a little girl, I listened to groups like Spice Girls, Dr. Bombay (do anyone remember them?), Backstreet Boys, Five and so on. Well, I surely have been telling you this but, I'm a dancer, have been dancing for several years; ballet, modern dancing and boogie. In the childhood, I danced to Spice Girls, imagined that I performed to the world, as one of the Spice Girls. I think I listened a lot to popstyle, and when I was 14-16 years old, I discovered the hard rock/metal style. I absolutely fell in love with it, it really gives me energy. However, it wasn't that I would write about. My childhood playlist consists of those groups i've been retroduced, and still today, I listen to it sometimes, and I like it, I'm proud of it. Because, if I listen to it, I can tell my children (if I will have any) that when i was a little girl, i was listening to those groups, and i'm proud of it.

Same here, I still remember seeing The Little Mermaid in the cinema. And for some reason I also still remember when the intermission was :?

More music I grew up with: the 90s Eurodance stuff, like 2Fabiola, 2Unlimited, Snap, Technotronic, Dr Alban, Culture Beat, ... all of that stuff.

Lion King 2 and Mulan were when I was 8 and 9. I watched all the other good stuff younger than that. =]

Then there is still hope for you to become educated in culture :P as the new ones lack this absolute greatness of the older ones. Though the very old ones like Bambi and Snowwhite were still lightyears better than the stuff I saw in the cinemas

Lol, hey, I'm educated in that stuff! And the first Mulan is awesome. Not the 2nd, watched that while babysitting. :\ bad.

Lol, I liked Aristocats.

When I was little I loved Bugs and Daffy, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, most Hanna-Barbera stuff, Ducktails, JUNGLE BOOK, then the almost mandatory My Little Pony and Care Bears. And what I watched probably more than the Jungle Book... Anything Donald. I loved Donald Duck, and Chip and Dale. I watched the one with them and the bears sooooooooo many times, I'm surprised the VHS still works.

I just loved this great Disney Club. Back then the best source for all those amazing series like Ducktales, Chip & Chap, Darkwing Duck, TaleSpin and Gummi Bears. From some I still know the complete main themes by heart - the german lyrics of course :P
Besides... my dream afternoon included hours of Die Biene Maja. As most of you won't know her... that's Maja, my childhood hero and her dumb friend Willy

Oh dear... now I have that song stuck in my head again...

Ahhh, Die Biene Maja, I still vaguely remember that...

Also saw The Lion King in the cinemas here, twice :D

Some of my favourite Disneys included Robin Hood, Sleeping Beauty, The Aristocats, ... Care Bears and Gummi Bears were fun as well.
