Re: How did you come to HammerFall? My boyfriend got me into Hammerfall. I got into Iron Maiden first and I had asked my boyfriend what other bands he thought I like. Well, he mentioned Hammerfall. He let me listen to his Legacy of Kings cd and I was hooked.

Re: How did you come to HammerFall? Ack, that doesn't sound healthy, asking your boyfriend what bands you might like....no offense do you like anything yourself? Anyway, getting back to the topic. 1999 living out of a suitcase in Minnesota I did a lot of driving around listening to metal. I heard about Hammerfall from the internet somehow. The cover art to Glory to the Brave looked cool so I picked up a copy when I saw it on the shelf of a local store, had never heard it before mind you. Glory to the Brave was the best thing since sliced bread, I listened the crap out of it. I picked up Legacy, and it was over. I was hooked....All Hail Hammerfall!!!! Keep the faith!

Re: How did you come to HammerFall? Mine is rather pathetic  : Someone in the world of warcraft forums posted a link to the Hearts on Fire video on youtube. I did like the song a lot, so i decided to listen to more hammerfall songs on youtube, and I just loved it. So I asked for Crimson thunder and No sacrifice, No victory for my birthday... and well, that's it, now I'm a fan. I'm waiting for hammerfall to come to spain, I'd really like to be on one of their concerts.

Re: How did you come to HammerFall? Exactly. I talk to my brother about music a lot. I've suggested HammerFall to several people and hooked a few.  There's nothing wrong for two people to like the same stuff, it doesn't mean they're only listening to it because of the other person.

Re: How did you come to HammerFall? My story.. is really, really weird. I was on Youtube. All I was was browsing for guides to "How to make HAMMERS" and while browsing through the lists, the first thing that caught my eyes was "Hammerfall - Hearts on Fire", so I was like 'oh bother, why not?'. Clicking on it turned out FREAKING AWESOME! I listened to every Hammerfall song on youtube (R.I.P bandwidth) and for my birthday, my dad bought me ALL the albums, each signed by Joacim  .. this band is MY ROLEMODELS! <3 For ever!
