As for Jorn: just listen to the song "Spirit never die" by Masterplan (which I think is an awesome song BTW), and then the part "And the spirit never dies". Just listen closely.

I did... I can find nothing wrong. Concerning Joacim - I think his voice is really good and memorable - to me he always sounds a bit squawking. A metal vocalist, espcially a power metal vocalist (and no, I don't want to start a discussion whether HF is PM or not ), should sound like Stefan Heiman, the former vocalist of Lost Horizon. Oh my God, what a voice...

I have not much knowledge about music, but I do think I know something about singing because I got taught the basics of professional singing Still... it is and always will be a matter of taste

I love Joacim's voice. It was his voice, and Fabio Lione's that got me hooked to metal.

lol, a bit strict on the off topic stuff. I think it's personally on topic, it's a discussion for this band, and comparing his voice to another singer's is discussing the band.

Because they were discussing the voices of the singers in the band, and brought up a common well known, metal singer that everyone can pretty much agree upon liking, to compare what his voice sounds like/if it is good or not. They were simply comparing this artist's voice to a common ground, to describe what 'clear' sounds like. So it is related, this isn't a discussion about their careers it's about their music and their voices are part of their music. If you expect us to just discuss what their career was like, then well.. this topic would be dead within a few hours.

Anyway, my favorite song has to be probably, Come Alive, like Valaina, but I haven't heard much from them.
