Just wanted to ask since this section was so silent. Actually I don't even believe in that kind of parting system, like you have to be either a cat or a dog person... So there are also those "both" and "neither" options.

Personally, I like both dogs and cats. I guess I haven't yet found an animal that I absolutely dislike, ha-ha. We have owned two dogs and one cat, my family and I. I could say that I'm a bit more dog person, but... No, I just like both!

What about you people?

CAT! I'm the ultimate cat lover. And I'd do everything for my small greatest man on earth with impressive whiskers and cute brushes on the ears!

Dogs for me

Cats are the nastiest animal alive. They are only nice to you when they want something, while dogs always want to be around and get a scratch

I love both. Though if I had to choose between, I'd pick cat, because they are independent and much less labor needed for them. They have such great personalities. I love a cat with a mind of its own. Dogs just kinda follow you around, drool a little, get in your way, be cute, follow you around. Cats will give you their attention, deny your attention, be funny (caturday, anyone?), be cute, etc.

Absolutely agreed! I don't have a problem with dogs, but either they yap all the time (the small ones) or they dribble all the time (the big ones). Further, they all smell when they are wet.

That's a good point.

I do like cats' independence, but it can be annoying, too, if you want to cuddle your pet. Cats are devious, dogs are always there for you. I still like both. =P
