Well, It's not as good as anything else they've done, but saying it's bad is... odd? : P
Meh, personal taste I guess : )

Well, for me CV's the album where HF fell into the typical Euro-metal cliche. They were always something special to me, but with CV I can't help but feel they've lost something they're never really going to recover from. I like them, but nowhere near as much as I used to.

I don't see a bigger difference between the style of Crimson Thunder and CV, just that the material is alot weaker on CV. What do you mean by "Euro-metal cliché"?

I'm not trying to be picky, I just want to know : O

Listen to the lyrical content - It has taken a drastic turn. All of a sudden you hear a lot more about 'infrared' and surveillance, etc... The sort of thing you hear from cheesey, and frankly amateur power metal bands like Dragonland, or Freedom Call. As a native English speaker I suspect I pick it up a bit more, but I can't help but think it's just a bit silly. I don't know, I guess it's become slightly more judgemental :?

The difference between style - they're trying to become more serious and it's reflected in the sound, but on CV they were still developing it, so it sounds pretty weak, imo.

Chapter V was a big downstep for me. Apart from Knights of the 21st Century I actually can't remember a song. Nothing managed to stay in my mind -that's something that would have never happened with the former albums. Even Knights took me quite a while to start to like it, but now I think it's pretty good - if you cut off Shagrath's bathroom noises :P

I'm aware of that, dearie. I was pointing out the similarities between intros. Read again: It's kinda like the start of Legion ;)

Ok, you got me there. But hey, I don't know Legion. Atm I'm too broken to afford No Sacrifice, No Victory, so that has to wait a while longer ;)

Casted my vote for "Secrets".

It´s a fast song. Love fast metal songs. It´s a great live song as well.
