 Re: Chapter V; Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken Listen to the lyrical content - It has taken a drastic turn. All of a sudden you hear a lot more about 'infrared' and surveillance, etc... The sort of thing you hear from cheesey, and frankly amateur power metal bands like Dragonland, or Freedom Call. As a native English speaker I suspect I pick it up a bit more, but I can't help but think it's just a bit silly. I don't know, I guess it's become slightly more judgemental  The difference between style - they're trying to become more serious and it's reflected in the sound, but on CV they were still developing it, so it sounds pretty weak, imo.

Re: Chapter V; Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken Chapter V was a big downstep for me. Apart from Knights of the 21st Century I actually can't remember a song. Nothing managed to stay in my mind -that's something that would have never happened with the former albums. Even Knights took me quite a while to start to like it, but now I think it's pretty good - if you cut off Shagrath's bathroom noises
