Are here any professional or hobby photographers among us? Anyone else out there who love to work with Photoshop, Gimp or corel draw?
I'm addicted to photoshop.
I love taking photos although I have at the moment just a little old Canon Ixus. But I think the type of camera and the age doesn't matter. When I want take underwater photos I'm still using an old compact camera.
Mostly I take photos of animals, gigs and random stuff. The people around me don't like it when I take photos of them.

I love taking pictures, generally of animals / nature and concerts. I have the Gimp on my computer but I can't do much more with it than some basic stuff (like writing "funny" comments on pictures ). It's all very much hobby tho, never took a course and haven't read books about it (except the manual of my camera, lol). So I'm not really THAT good at it, but I sometimes manage to get some really nice pictures. At concerts I generally have the problem that I'm rather small, so if I'm not front row it's not always easy to get good pictures (also depends on the venue).
My camera is a Panasonic Lumix dmc-tz2. Am quite satisfied with it.

A friend of mine has a Lumix. They take really good photos with it and don't need to experiment with the settings to get good pictures.

Most times I have to edit the pictures afterwards with photoshop, otherwise the pictures would be too bad for showing them around.
I'm the kind of person who bothers other people to view my pictures.
Luckily the internet is full of photo communities where people love it to view other pictures.

Ah yeah, I'm quite happy I don't need to experiment with the settings (my knowledge of cameras isn't that extended) ... and bothering other people with my pictures is quite fun indeed

I'm definitely no great photographer (I'm unable to hold still while releasing) but I just love to take pictures of nature. Thanks to my new Lumix with an extremely great stabilizer the pics are at least not blurry anymore

What kind of work are you doing with Photoshop?

Since I'm a webdeveloper I'm creating graphics and such for websites.

But sometime I'm bored and do simple stuff as this.

Wow! Awesome pictures! I wish I could create pictures like yours.
But I probably it's not my style. For any reason people don't like it when I try to create pictures like yours. They prefer the funny fake pictures I create.

There are loads and loads of people of there. certainly needs photoshopped photos in "my" style
